Students agitation force TASUED management to remove newly introduced fees

The recent fee hike and update on Tai Solarin University of Education portal caught many off guard, and left students both surprised and concerned.

To further address the issue, the student union organized a general meeting, aptly termed a “Congress”, yesterday, October 8th, 2023, at 2pm in front of Block A on campus.

In a significant turn of events, the Student Union Government (SUG) at Tai Solarin University of Education has successfully negotiated with the university’s management to reverse the newly introduced fees on the school portal for prospective students. The SUG, dedicated to advocating for the rights of the student body, has been relentless in its efforts to address this matter. Following productive discussions and negotiations with the university’s administration, an agreement has been reached to eliminate the controversial fees from the portal.

While the specifics of the agreement between the SUG and the university’s management have not been disclosed in the press release, it is emphasized that the union will continue to engage in discussions regarding these fees. The Student Union Government is committed to transparency and intends to communicate any further developments to the public.

Emphasizing the importance of verified sources, the SUG emphasized its commitment to supporting students and addressing any challenges they may face.

The SUG assured students that they are dedicated to advocating for their rights and ensuring a positive university experience for all. Any questions or concerns from the student body are encouraged to be brought forward, as the SUG remains ready to assist and represent their interests.
