Gov. Abiodun mourns death of Ogun ex commissioner, Falilu Sabitu

The Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun, has expressed sadness at the passing of Hon. Falilu Adebisi Sabitu, a prominent and grassroots politician in the state.

Reportedly, Hon. Sabitu passed away on Tuesday. In addition to being the chairman of the Ogun State Agro Service Cooperation, he was a member of the Governor’s Advisory Committee.

During the previous administration, he also served as the Commissioner of Forestry and Rural Development. 

Governor Abiodun hailed the late politician as a formidable force in Ogun State politics, particularly in his district of Ogun Waterside, as well as a loyal and active member of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The governor stated that the late Sabitu’s unrelenting dedication to his citizens gained him widespread respect and appreciation across party lines.

“Today, we mourn the loss of a distinguished politician, a servant leader, and a strong member of our party,” Governor Abiodun said. 

The governor expressed his sympathy to Hon. Sabitu’s family and advised them to find comfort in the fact that his influence touched so many lives.

Governor Abiodun also expressed condolences to APC members and the people of Ogun Waterside Local Government on the death.
