Mapoly suspends 19 students over examination malpractice 

The management of the Moshood Abi ola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), Abeokuta, Ogun state has suspended 19 students over examination malpractices while two other students were given warning letters to desist from such act.

According to a report on Monday by the Institution’s Examination Misconduct Panel On The First Semester Examination for the 2022/2023 Academic Session,  four of the suspended students will be suspended for two semesters, while the remaining 15 will be suspended for four semesters.

Reacting Yemi Ajibola, the institution’s head of public relations, stated that, in comparison to earlier reports on exam misconduct, the report showed a sharp decrease in the number of students engaging in exam misconduct.

He noted that the decrease demonstrates the success of the management’s efforts to sensitize students about test malpractice and prepare them for the workforce.

” It shows that in the nearest future,there will be no students in MAPOLY involved in such examination malpractices.
