Four arrested for allegedly stealing conduit wires, cables worth over N5m

The Ogun State Community, Social Orientation and Safety Corps codenamed So-Safe Corps, on Monday, said its operatives have arrested four men for allegedly stealing conduit wires, cables and sockets worth over five million naira.

The suspects,ย Mubarak Sheu, Usman Umar, Naura Abubakar, and Aba Rabiu residents of Lusada Town were apprehended at Block F, Plot 13, Future Expansion, OPIC Estate, Agbara.

According to the Corps spokesperson, Moruf Yusuf, the arrest was made by officers from the Igere-Ihunsa Divisional Command under Assistant Commander Adebesin Lukmon following a distress call.

Ganzallo said that upon receiving the call, the officers swiftly responded and apprehended the four suspected members of the robbery syndicate.

He added that the suspects and recovered exhibits had been transferred to the Nigeria Police Force, Agbara Divisional Police Headquarters, for further investigation and potential prosecution.
