Ogun: ASUSS hails Abiodun for appointing Onasanya as HoS

The Academic Staff Union of Secondary School (ASUSS) has lauded the state governor,  Dapo Abiodun for appointing Kehinde Onasanya as the 20th Head of Service of the gateway state.

In a press statement made available to newsmen in Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital, ASUSS  Chairman, Comrade (Dr.) Felix Agbesanwa said the appointment of Mr. Onasanya, a real team player, an astute administrator, a dedicated and vibrant civil servant, is a testament that hardwork and dedication to duty pays.

Comrade Dr. Felix Agbesanwa said the New Head of Service, has remained a  thorough bred professional and a disciplined  civil servant who has made laudable impact in all of the offices he has occupied till date.

The ASUSS  chairman recalled that the new head of service distinguished himself when he was a Director at TESCOM and has shown optimism to thrive in any giving position.

He expressed optimism that the new head of service will further help consolidate on the mantra of the Dapo Abiodun led  administration. 

Until his appointment, Mr. Onasanya was the Permanent Secretary, Bureau of Political Affairs and Administration.

He joined the civil service as an Information Officer, GL. 08 on 2 December 1993 and rose through the ranks to a director on GL. 17. He was appointed Permanent Secretary on 2 October 2020.
