The Ogun state chairman of the Amalgamated Commercials Tricycle And Motorcycle Owners, Repairers And Riders Association of Nigeria (ACOMORAN), Kayode Sowunmi, has said the governor genuinely deserves the awards, fgiven his accomplishments and dedication to the state’s growth and development.
Sowunmi praised both the SUN Newspaper and Silver Bird Television for their foresight in recognising Governor Abiodun’s exceptional leadership and governance.
He expressed his support for the governor’s selection as the SUN Newspaper’s Governor of the Year and Silver Bird Television Man of the Year in a statement made available on Friday in Abeokuta, the state capital.
He emphasised that Governor Abiodun was genuinely deserved of these high honours because of his accomplishments and commitment to the growth and development of Ogun State.
Under Governor Abiodun’s outstanding leadership, Sowunmi emphasised the government’s outstanding accomplishments, especially in the fields of infrastructure, education, healthcare, agriculture, and security.
He praised the governor’s diligent efforts to boost the state’s economy and draw investments, both of which have surely made a difference in the lives of the people.
“The Ogun State governor has shown unwavering dedication and competence in the discharge of his duties. His visionary policies and programs have positively impacted various sectors, fostering social welfare, business opportunities, and overall progress,” Sowunmi remarked.
The ACOMORAN Chairman also congratulated Silver Bird Television and the SUN Newspaper for their careful selection process and suggested that other media organisations take note of their standard-setting approach.
He pointed out that honouring and applauding outstanding leaders such as Governor Abiodun encourages others to pursue greatness in their spheres of influence.
