Adire fashion show sets to boost Ogun economy 

The well-known Ogun Adire fashion show is set to hold its 2024 event that will promote the rich Adire culture and boost the state’s economy.

The fashion show, slated for August 2024, is expected to be a major event honouring the distinct artistry and skill of Adire makers, fashion designers, fashion houses, models, craftsmen, and others

Adeyemi Heritage, the renowned organizer of show, on Tuesday in a statement made available to Ogunwatch urged both private and local companies to take advantage of the platform in promoting their products and services.

Adeyemi noted that the show  aims to not only preserve and promote this cultural heritage but also stimulate economic growth by attracting both local and international attention to Ogun State.

“Adire fashion Show: Encouraging private and local companies to take the advantage and promote their products and services, This signals a significant opportunity for businesses to leverage the event to showcase their products, forge new partnerships, and reach a wider consumer base.

“Fashion designers, fashion houses, Adire makers, models, artisans, and enthusiasts are encouraged to prepare themselves for this upcoming extravaganza.

Adire, a traditional Yoruba textile art form, has gained international recognition for its intricate designs and vibrant colors.
