Ogun: 49yrs old woman commits suicide

A 49 years old woman, Idowu Victoria on Sunday committed suicide in Magboro Ibafo, Ogun state.

This was contained in a statement made available to OgunWatch by the spokesperson for the Ogun state police command, Odutola Omolola.

Omolola stated that the incident was reported to the Ibafo division of the command by the deceased son Idowu Qudus on Sunday.

According to the statement, Qudus (son) on returning back from church at about 3:30pm discovered that his mother had hung herself on the ceiling fan inside her room.

On this the divisional officer sent operatives to the scene where photographs where taken and no suicide note was found.

Meanwhile the commissioner of police CP Alamutu has advised families to seek help for family members whose relatives or loved ones needs emotional support.
