OGSIEC to hold by – election in Ilado Ward 10 to replace dead councillor 

To replace the late councillor, Hon. Olufemi Taiwo of Ilado ward 10 in the state’s Odogbolu local government area the Ogun sate Independent Electoral Commission (OGSIEC) will hold a by-election on Thursday.

This was made known in a statement signed by Babatunde Osibodu, Chairman, OGSIEC and made available to OgunWatch on Tuesday.

The statement reads: 

“ The Ogun State Independent Electoral Commission (OGSIEC) will on Thursday, October 26, 2023, conduct a By-Election to replace the deceased Councilor, Hon. Olufemi Taiwo of Ilado ward 10 in Odogbolu Local Government Area of the State.

“Voting will commence at 8.00am and end by 2pm at the following polling units: In front of Ilado Social Club, Sibadewa; Ilado (001); St Luke Primary School,Imodi Ijasi (002); Odosenlu Market, Odosenlu (003); Open Space at Aba Tiwa Aba Soobo (004), Open Space Akio (005); St John Anglican Primary School, Ilado (O06) and Town hall, Imodi Ijasi (007).

“All eligible voters are to adhere strictly to the rules and regulations guiding the electoral process.
