Nasarawa has a lot to learn from Ogun, Gov Sule tells Abiodun

The governor of Nasarawa state, Abdullahi Sule has said his administration has a lot to learn from the Ogun state government.

Governor Sule who made this known when he visited Dapo Abiodun at the Governor’s Office, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, expressed satisfaction with the well-developed road network that extends throughout the state.

The renowned engineer maintaining that his administration still has a lot to learn from how Ogun State is using its proximity to Lagos State, highlighted the significance of the projects implemented on the grassroots level.

“I am also here to appreciate him (Abiodun) for all the good works that he is doing and to learn from what he is doing in Ogun because Ogun to Lagos is the way Nasarawa is to Abuja. We have so much to learn from Ogun State.

“I have seen so many good things and I want to congratulate him. I have seen the dualization of the Sagamu to Abeokuta road. The last time I was here, it was just a single lane. “So many things are going on in the state. I have seen so many projects at the grassroots that he is doing.

“Most of these projects are better when you build them at the grassroot where the people will be able to benefit in the areas of agriculture, in the areas of health, agriculture.

“The biggest of them all is in the area of your own revenue. You will not appreciate it until you understand what other states who are not generating this kind of revenue are doing.

“It was not like this. Agbara wasn’t like this and today Sagamu wasn’t like that,” he added.

Governor Sule also visited the home of a former Minister of Finance, Dr. Onaolapo Soleye who died on the 15 November 2023 at the age of 90.
