New Movie: Anikulapo, Rise of the Spectre hits Netflix today

The eagerly awaited mystical drama series, “Anikulapo, Rise of the Spectre,” takes center stage as it premieres on the global streaming giant, Netflix, today. 

This series, comprised of 6 episodes, serves as a compelling offshoot of Kunle Afolayan’s 2023 epic blockbuster, “Anikulapo,” which delved into the themes of hubris, betrayal, and revenge.

Nigerian film enthusiasts have been anticipating this release, especially after Afolayan, the producer, hinted at its emergence in 2022, fueled by the success of its predecessor.

Fans of the original production will eagerly anticipate the return of Saro, the protagonist, who is poised for a reincarnation, ensuring the seamless continuation of the captivating storyline.
