Mali defeats Nigeria 2-0 in friendly football clash

The Eagles of Mali secured a 2-0 victory over the Super Eagles of Nigeria in a match held on Tuesday night.

Mali took the lead in the 18th minute with a goal from E. Toure, and K. Doumbia sealed the win with a strike in the 84th minute.

This loss marked George Finidi’s first defeat as the interim coach of Nigeria, following Jose Peseiro’s contract expiration.
