Poland, Ukraine, Georgia claim last Euro 2024 spots

The Euro 2024 tournament roster has been finalized with Poland, Ukraine, and Georgia emerging triumphant from fiercely contested playoff matches on Tuesday evening.

Set against the backdrop of anticipation, the UEFA Euro 2024 spectacle is scheduled to commence in Munich, Germany, on June 14th, culminating with the grand finale in Berlin on July 14th, 2024.

In a tense encounter, Poland prevailed over Wales in a nail-biting penalty shootout following a deadlock in regular time and extra time. The intensity peaked when Walesโ€™ C. Mepham was shown a red card in the 120th minute, paving the way for Polish striker K. Piatek to convert the decisive penalty. This secured Poland’s position in Group D, alongside Netherlands, Austria, and France.

Nika Kvekveskiriโ€™s nerve-wracking penalty ignited celebrations among Georgian supporters, cementing their place in Group F alongside Turkey, Portugal, and the Czech Republic.
