JAMB announces dates for 2024 UTME: April 19 to 29

In an announcement on Wednesday, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) disclosed the schedule for the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). As conveyed by Fabian Benjamin, JAMB’s Public Communication Adviser, the primary UTME is set to take place between April 19 and April 29, 2024.

The statement explained that the decision to fix these dates was a result of recommendations originating from a two-day Information Technology and Management Retreat held between November 26 and November 28, 2023. Following these deliberations, JAMB has designated the period from January 15 to February 26, 2024, for the sale of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination application documents.

Furthermore, the 2024 MOCK-UTME has been scheduled for March 7, 2024. Subsequently, the main UTME is slated to occur from April 19 to April 29, 2024. Candidates are advised to print their examination slips starting from April 10, 2024.

Emphasizing the importance of adhering to these dates and guidelines, candidates are urged to stay informed about additional advisories issued by the Board concerning the examination. They are directed to visit the official JAMB website at www.jamb.gov.ng for any supplementary information.
