It is a mandatory test for prospective students who have scored a minimum of 200 in the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination.

Eligibility Criteria for UNILAG Post-UTME Exam

To be eligible for the UNILAG Post-UTME exam, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Choose UNILAG as the first choice during the 2023/2024 JAMB registration. Candidates who selected UNILAG as a second or third choice will not be considered for admission.
  • Have a minimum of five credit passes at one sitting in relevant O’level subjects, including Mathematics and English Language.
  • Upload O’level results on the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) on or before August 13, 2023.
  • Be at least sixteen years of age by October 31, 2023.
  • Participate in the Post-UTME screening. Candidates who do not take part in the screening will not be considered for admission.
  • Former students whose admission was withdrawn due to poor performance or absence status may re-apply, provided they choose a new course or program.

How to Apply for the UNILAG Post-UTME Exam

To apply for the UNILAG Post-UTME exam, follow these steps:

  • Visit the official UNILAG website: https://unilag.edu.ng/?page_id=2546.
  • Select “Post-UTME Application” from the admission menu.
  • Log in using your UTME (JAMB) number as the username and your lowercase surname as the password.
  • Generate and print the payment advice for the Post-UTME application.
  • Make the payment at any commercial bank or pay online.
  • Return to the university portal to complete the screening form.
  • Click on “Continue Application” to fill out the admission screening form.
  • Review the supplied data by clicking on “Preview” to ensure accuracy.
  • Print your Post-UTME Examination Pass.
