Alan Fisher, an Irish chef based in Japan, has achieved a culinary feat by breaking not one but two Guinness World Records for the longest cooking marathon by an individual.

The Guinness World Records organization officially announced this remarkable achievement on Tuesday via its website.

Fisher’s extraordinary culinary journey saw him cooking continuously for an astonishing 119 hours and 57 minutes, shattering the previous record of 93 hours and 11 minutes, which was held by Nigerian chef Hilda Baci, widely known as Hilda Baci.

Hilda Baci, upon learning of Fisher’s new world record, gracefully conceded her title as the longest individual cooking marathon record holder. She promptly updated her bio on social media platform X and Instagram, removing the prestigious title.

In a heartfelt post shared on X, Hilda Baci expressed her admiration for Fisher’s impressive accomplishment.

She stated, “Achieving such a record is no small feat, and I know this firsthand. I have only the greatest admiration for the hard work it took for Alan to reach such heights.
