Hilda Baci adjusts bio as Irish chef hijacks cooking Marathon record

Alan Fisher, an Irish chef based in Japan, has achieved a culinary feat by breaking not one but two Guinness World Records for the longest cooking marathon by an individual.

The Guinness World Records organization officially announced this remarkable achievement on Tuesday via its website.

Fisher’s extraordinary culinary journey saw him cooking continuously for an astonishing 119 hours and 57 minutes, shattering the previous record of 93 hours and 11 minutes, which was held by Nigerian chef Hilda Baci, widely known as Hilda Baci.

Hilda Baci, upon learning of Fisher’s new world record, gracefully conceded her title as the longest individual cooking marathon record holder. She promptly updated her bio on social media platform X and Instagram, removing the prestigious title.

In a heartfelt post shared on X, Hilda Baci expressed her admiration for Fisher’s impressive accomplishment.

She stated, “Achieving such a record is no small feat, and I know this firsthand. I have only the greatest admiration for the hard work it took for Alan to reach such heights.

Sportsmanship is about recognizing progress, whether the accolade is in my bio or not. I remain a record-holder in spirit and in history.

Let’s celebrate achievement and the spirit of competition. I’m so happy to have held a record so prestigious and profound that I will forever be honored and grateful for all the love and support.”

Guinness World Records confirmed that Alan Fisher, hailing from Ireland, accomplished this extraordinary culinary marathon at his restaurant in Japan.

Fisher’s astonishing 119-hour and 57-minute cooking marathon not only secured his place in the record books but also marked a remarkable feat in the world of culinary endurance, surpassing Hilda Baci’s previous record by over 24 hours.

Fisher’s dedication and skill in the kitchen have truly set a new standard for culinary endurance, leaving a lasting mark on the world of competitive cooking.
