IWD: “Women First” Tinubu pledges focus on female empowerment

President Bola Tinubu has pledged to prioritize women’s welfare, safeguard their rights, and promote their interests during his tenure. In a statement released by his media aide, Ajuri Ngelale, to mark International Women’s Day, Tinubu hailed women as the cornerstone of the nation.

Acknowledging their pivotal role in nation-building, Tinubu underscored the indispensable contribution of Nigerian women to the country’s development, progress, and overall greatness. He lauded their remarkable achievements across various fields, citing their resilience, strength, courage, and ingenuity as emblematic qualities.
