President Bola Tinubu embarked on his inaugural visit to the North-Eastern region, departing from Abuja at 10:35 am today. His departure, from the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, marks a significant move since assuming office.
Tinubu’s visit is in connection with his role as the Special Guest of Honour at the Nigerian Army Annual Conference. Brigadier General Onyema Nwachukwu, the Director of Army Public Relations, disclosed the details of the opening ceremony, which encompasses an address to the troops of Joint Task Force North East Operation HADIN KAI.
Additionally, the President will inspect the ongoing Nigerian Army Reference Hospital in Maiduguri and lay the foundation stone for Headquarters 7 Division.
This journey signifies Tinubu’s commitment to engaging with critical military initiatives and infrastructure developments in the North-Eastern part of the country.
