Teni reveals life-threatening throat infection diagnosis


Afrobeats sensation Teniola Apata, known as Teni, recently opened up about a life-threatening throat infection she was diagnosed with in July. She shared her journey on her verified Instagram page, @tenientertainer, where she documented her struggles.

Due to recurring voice loss episodes, medical experts recommended a major operation to prevent irreversible voice damage. In September, she was hospitalized after experiencing repeated exhaustion.

Teni is currently undergoing treatment and avoiding surgery. She reassured her fans about her forthcoming album, ‘Tears Of The Sun,’ scheduled for release on the 17th of this month. She specifically mentioned ‘Malaika’ as a song expressing her gratitude to God.
