President Tinubu names Adewale Adeniyi as customs CG

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has given the green light for Adewale Adeniyi to officially take on the role of Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service.

This decision, as announced by Willie Bassey, the Director of Information at the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, becomes effective from October 19, 2023, and aligns with the existing guidelines outlined in the Public Service Rules (PSR).

The President has urged Adeniyi to apply his extensive experience to excel in his new position. It’s worth noting that back in June, Tinubu appointed Adeniyi as the head of the Nigeria Customs Service, succeeding the former CG, Hammed Ali.
