Ogun Rep sponsors bills on federal university, others

Member representing Ado-Odo/Ota Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Hon. Tunji Akinosi, has sponsored three bills within his first 100 days in office.

They are,  Establishment Bill of Federal Medical Center, Atan-Ota, Establishment Bill of Federal University of Technology, Atan-Ota and Establishment Bill of Tertiary Hospital Development Tax Fund.

All the bills have scaled through the First Reading at the Green Chamber.

In an interview with reporters, the lawmaker’s legislative aide, Joel Okeodebija disclosed that the bills were part of the achievements recorded during the Rep member’s 100 days in office.

According to him, the proposed legal frameworks will contribute to education and technological advancement and improve health conditions of about a million population in the Federal Constituency.

“ To start with, generally as a lawmaker with the primary function of lawmaking, it is in the public domain that Hon. Tunji Akinosi started very well having sponsored 3 life-changing bills within his 50 days in office apart from some other social and engagement programs in the constituency, he has done well so far. 

“ This three important bills will address the educational, technology and medical challenges of Nigerians especially his constituents. Also one of this Bills will assist in improving government’s IGR.

He urged the people to anticipate more development projects, active representation, and unrestricted access to their representative while promising them of “better by far” representation at the chamber.

“ I can say boldly and confidently that the constituents should expect more developmental projects, active representation and unhindered accessibility to their representative.

“I will urge the entire members of the constituency to stand firmly by the confidence reposed on the lawmaker during the last election and continue to render productive advises and support without sentiments for prosperity of our dear constituency.
