Ogun contribute transformer to FCE

The Ogun State Government, through Commissioner for Community Development and Cooperatives Alhaji Ademola Balogun, affirmed its commitment to improving the well-being of all residents. In a statement released on Saturday, the commissioner, represented by Permanent Secretary Alhaji Fatai Ogunlana, assured non-discrimination in providing support. This commitment was evident as a 500 KVA transformer was presented to the Federal College of Education Osiele Abeokuta in Odeda Local Government Area. The commissioner highlighted that the governor’s decision to donate the transformer stemmed from the aim of benefiting all individuals within Ogun State.

Acknowledging the gesture, Dr. Rafiu Soyele, the Provost of the Federal College of Education, expressed gratitude for the state government’s generosity. Established in 1976, the institution has contributed significantly to society. Soyele, while appreciating the transformer donation, appealed for continued support. He emphasized the importance of the transformer in enhancing the institution’s quality of life and pledged vigilance against vandalism.
