Mohbad: Naira Marley, Sam Larry secure bail of N20 Million

In Yaba, Lagos State, a Magistrate’s Court has granted bail to singer Azeez Fashola (Naira Marley) and Lagos socialite Balogun Eletu (Sam Larry) on Monday. The bail amount is set at N20 million, and they are required to provide three responsible sureties.

Naira Marley, Sam Larry, and two others were previously arraigned and remanded on October 6, facing allegations related to the circumstances surrounding the death of musician Ilerioluwa Aloba, widely known as Mohbad.

Magistrate Adeola Olatunbosun specified that the defendants must surrender their passports and regularly report to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti, as part of the bail conditions.

Additionally, she cautioned against any direct contact regarding the case, emphasizing that any such attempts would be documented and possibly disclosed during open court proceedings.
