Israeli strike hits north Gaza, south Lebanon targeted

Beit Lahiya in northern Gaza has been declared a “disaster” zone following weeks of intense Israeli bombardment and siege. A senior UNRWA official described conditions there as “catastrophic.” On Tuesday, Israeli forces killed over 110 Palestinians in Beit Lahiya, an attack the United States labeled “horrifying.”

Meanwhile, Israel continues its strikes in southern Lebanon, with 15 people, including women and children, killed in recent attacks near Sidon. Israeli reports indicate that at least 33 Israeli soldiers have died in Lebanon clashes since early October.

Since October 7, 2023, at least 43,163 people in Gaza have been killed, with 101,510 wounded. Additionally, over 1,100 were killed in Israel during Hamas-led attacks, with more than 200 taken captive. In Lebanon, Israeli attacks have killed at least 2,787 people and wounded 12,772 since the war on Gaza began.
