Efele congratulates Dapo Abiodun on Appeal court victory

Titilayo Akibu, known as Efele, the chairman of the Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN) in Ogun State, has congratulated Governor Dapo Abiodun on his victory at the appeal court against opponent, Peoples Democratic Party’s Ladi Adebutu, on disputes arising from the recently concluded governorship election.

The Court of Appeal sitting in Lagos State has, on Friday upheld the victory of Dapo Abiodun in the March 18 governorship election.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had declared Abiodun of the All Progressives Congress (APC) winner of the election after scoring 276,298 votes ahead of Ladi Adebutu of the People Democratic Party (PDP) with 262,383 votes.

Writing the congratulatory message on his official Instagram page, the transport boss also said he, with “a big sense of gratitude,” appreciates the “good people of Ogun State.”
