The Christ Apostolic Grammar School Old Students Association (CAGSOSA) on Thursday expressed condolence to the Ogun state government and family of Onanuga over the passing of the lawmaker, Adewunmi Onanuga, representing Sagamu/Ikenne/Remo North Federal Constituency.
Onanuga who died at age 59 on Wednesday also
served as the Deputy Chief Whip at the Federal House of Assembly, Abuja.
In a condolence message issued by Gaffar Adesoga Owokalade on behalf of the executives of the CAGSOSA, the old students described the tragic exit of the federal lawmaker as a monumental loss to Remoland, Ogun State and the country at large.
The condolence message reads, “On behalf of the National President, Mr. Armstrong ‘Tope Akintunde, the National Executives, and all members of CAGSOSA, extend our heartfelt condolences to the I members of the Federal House of Assembly, the people of Ogun State—especially her constituency—and her immediate family.
” This is an irreplaceable loss not only to her family but to all who knew and were impacted by her remarkable service and dedication to the development of her constituency and beyond.
” We pray for the peaceful repose of her soul and that God grants her family and loved ones the strength and fortitude to bear this great loss.
“May her soul rest in perfect peace”.
