Breaking: Tinubu signs bill to reinstate old national anthem

On Wednesday, President Bola Tinubu signed the National Anthem Bill 2024 into law, which aims to reinstate the old anthem, “Nigeria, We Hail Thee.” Senate President Godswill Akpabio announced this development during a joint plenary session attended by Tinubu.

The final approval of the bill marks a transition from the currently recognized anthem, “Arise O Compatriots.” Both the Senate and the House of Representatives swiftly passed the bill. Further details will be provided soon.
