Breaking: Senate passes N2.1 Trillion supplementary budget

The Senate, under the leadership of Senate President Godswill Akpabio, has officially endorsed President Bola Tinubu’s supplementary budget of N2.1 trillion for the 2023 fiscal year.

This decision came following a thorough discussion and adoption of the Senate Committee on Appropriations’ report during Thursday’s plenary session.

Chairman of the Senate Committee on Appropriations, Adeola Olamilekan, presented the committee’s report, which was subsequently debated and approved through a voice vote, with Senators from various political parties showing their support.
