Al-Ittihad sacks Nuno Espirito Santo amidst poor form

Saudi Pro League champions, Al-Ittihad, have made the tough decision to relieve former Tottenham manager Nuno Espirito Santo of his coaching duties due to a string of disappointing results. The team, which has managed to secure only six wins out of 12 league games this season, faced a 2-0 defeat by Air Force Club of Iraq in the Asian Champions League recently. Nuno, who assumed the role in July 2022 after his departure from Tottenham, has faced challenges since his arrival. Assistant coach Hassan Khalifa will temporarily lead the team.
