BREAKING: NLC and TUC declare nationwide strike on nov 14 over AJaero issue in Imo

The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress of Nigeria (TUC) have jointly called for an immediate and comprehensive strike in Imo State, effective from midnight today. This decision was made during their “extraordinary” National Executive Council (NEC) meeting today.

The strike has been prompted by the recent attack, assault, and physical harm inflicted on NLC President Joe AJaero and other labor leaders, among other grievances.

Additionally, they have decided to initiate a nationwide strike by Tuesday, November 14, if their demands are not addressed.
