The Rotary Club of Ibara GRA Abeokuta has named Rotarian Monayajo Adeola as the international organization’s third president.
Rotarian Adeola was introduced in a four-in-one grandiose event that included project launch, awards, induction, and accolades speakers, with the theme coined to commemorate World Mental Health Day in 2023.

Dr. Majekodunmi, the event’s guest lecturer, stated that mental health was a basic human right for all because one in every eight people worldwide suffers from this condition, which can affect their physical health, well-being, how they connect with others, and their livelihoods.
Rotarian Monayajo Adeola, the new President of Rotary Club of Ibara, GRA, urged Nigerians to take precautions to protect their mental health while also revealing the club’s strategy for its residents.
“The Prestigious Rotary Club of Ibara GRA today is proposing 10 million naira project for our Rotary Garden at OPIC roundabout, some millions of naira for solar powered street light poles to brighten the dark areas within Ibara GRA to guard against criminal activities at nignt.
“ I am really bold to announce that the prestigious rotary club of ibara be partnering with both the public and private sector sustainable development goals (SDGs) to create a better future for all.
“We will use our knowledge of local issues to identify areas of need in Ibara housing estate and its nearest community, then apply our expertise and diverse perspectives to find solutions.
Rotarian Monayajo earned a National Diploma in Civil Engineering from Moshood Abiola Polytechnic in Ojere, a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from National Open University (NOUN), and several certifications from online studies in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, and Information Technology.
