The candidate of African Action Congress has declared his interest to participate in the forthcoming Lagos City Marathon and subsequently calling Peter Obi, Abubakar Atiku and Bola Tinubu to the challenge.
Sowore declared this Tuesday on his official Twitter handle where he also called for 100 runners who may be interested in what he tagged ‘#RunWithSowore.’
Sowore is known to be an athletic personality because of his previous participation in Marathons across the world including New York City Marathon and the Lagos Marathon in 2019.
Sowore tweeted: “I will be participating in the Lagos City Marathon #RunLagos2023 scheduled for Feb 4th 2023, I am looking for 100 runners to join me in what I have tagged #RunwithSowore, I am also urging other Pres. candidates particularly of the @OfficialAPCNg @OfficialPDPNig @NgLabour to join!”
Ulfata Deresa of Ethiopia emerged winner of the 2022 Lagos City Marathon.
The Access Bank Lagos City Marathon 2023 Expo starts on 23rd of Jan till 2nd of Feb. it is being sponsored by the Lagos state government and Access bank.
