Tanimowo Oyemade, the African Action Congress Ijebu Ode House of Assembly candidate in the 2023 election, has been attacked and stripped by persons allegedly loyal to the All Progressive Congress (APC).
Tanimowo who spoke to our correspondent after the attack claimed that he suspected it to have come from his APC contender, Bakre Omolola Olanrewaju (BOO).
The AAC candidate said while his assailants pounced on him, they mentioned that they were being sponsored by their boss. The reason for the attack, Tanimowo told Ogunwatch his assailants said ”we are seeing your hand in Ijebu Ode.”
“My attackers are four in number” Tanimowo said, ”Ibrahim, Tayo, Tunde, I cant remember the fourth person”
The matter has been reported to the Police command headquarters, Igbeba Ijebu Ode where the victim is being interviewed.
